Sreesanth Out Of Asia Cup Due To Injury

NEW DELHI: Pacer S Sreesanth was on Tuesday ruled out of the Asia Cup later this month as he has not fully recovered from the left external oblique injury sustained during the Indian Premier League. Sreesanth, who missed the Bangladesh tri-series and was in doubt for the Asia Cup to be held in Pakistan from June 24, was found unfit for the tournament beginning on June 24 and has been advised two weeks rest. He was declared unfit for the tournament by Paul Close, the physio at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore.
