Today was a match between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Daredevils in the DLF – IPL
Mumbai Indians given a target of 162. For Delhi Daredevils Gautam Gambhir and Virender Sehwag opened the batting. Took the score to 3 before Gautam Gambhir was out. He was followed by Shikhar Dhawan when the team’s score was just 4.
Chasing a target of 163, the Daredevils were bowled out for 133 runs in 18.5 overs with skipper Virender Sehwag emerging as the top scorer with 40. Shaun Pollock was declared man of the match.
Earlier, winning the toss Delhi Daredevils opted to field first and restricted Mumbai Indians to 162 for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs. Opener Sanath Jayasuriya was the top scorer with 34 while skipper Shaun Pollock made 33 for the Mumbai team.
